Our Founder
Silvia, the founder of jeane+jax, was born and raised in Montreal with proud Italian roots, bringing a rich cultural background to her passion for fashion. With over 25 years of experience working with internationally recognized brands, Silvia has honed her expertise in both the creative and strategic aspects of the industry. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and International Business, along with a degree in Fashion Design, equipping her with the perfect blend of business savviness and creative vision.
In 2014, Silvia took her passion for sustainability to the next level by founding jeane+jax, a brand committed to redefining fashion through ethical practices. For more than a decade, she has focused on sustainable materials, passionately advocating for a total ethics fashion model—a brand philosophy that respects and is passionate about people, the planet, and animals. Her mission is to make sustainable choices accessible to all, ensuring that eco-friendly fashion becomes the norm rather than the exception.

We are proud to offer our consumers a higher-end alternative to animal leather that is not only durable but looks and feels luxurious. Our soft and supple materials are certified at the European Union level which holds the highest standard.
We only use YKK & OOK high-quality zippers, and we produce our own custom hardware to ensure no hazardous metals are in the composition.
