our founder
Born and raised in Montreal with Italian origins, I’m very much inspired by my multicultural surroundings and my European heritage. I grew up speaking three languages and in addition to loving sports and music, my true passion was always fashion. After earning a BCOMM in marketing and international business, as well as a degree in fashion design, I built a successful career in brand management. Having the opportunity to manage other brands allowed me to work in all facets of the industry, giving me a solid foundation to build upon.
After several years of networking, travelling, and gaining knowledge, I decided to share my vision and make my voice heard by launching my own brand. Although many professions have the potential to make a difference in the world, it was challenging for me to determine how my contribution to society could be measured in the fashion industry. When I started my business, it was important for me to do something that could make a positive impact and give back. With that motivation, jeane+jax was created by combining my fashion expertise and compassion for nature.

We are proud to offer our consumers a higher-end alternative to animal leather that is not only durable but looks and feels luxurious. Our soft and supple materials are certified at the European Union level which holds the highest standard.
We only use YKK & OOK high-quality zippers, and we produce our own custom hardware to ensure no hazardous metals are in the composition.

Over the years, our company has evolved to not only being vegan, but to providing the most sustainable products to our consumers. We are committed to only using premium recycled vegan materials and/or plant-based fabrics.

As a compassionate brand, it is important for us to give back to the community and support local charities. Over the years we have donated both product and proceeds to various organizations such as Humane Society International, SPCA, Share the Warmth, Animal Justice, and various women shelters which we keep anonymous for their safety.
